14 swimmers from Edinburgh represented the East District at the Inter District competition in Aberdeen on 24 March. They all performed really well.

On Sunday 25 February the club held its inaugaral Club Figure Competition. Everyone competed, from those who joined us in January to our most senior swimmers. They performed either their Age Group figures / elements or figures from the grade they are due to take next.
Congratulations to our Head Coach Margo, who was made Life Member of Scottish Swimming at the AGM on Saturday 24 February 2018. We are very proud of her.
It was the first Edinburgh Synchro Awards Night and Disco on Friday 19 January. Almost all the club came along and it was a wondeful night. Edinburgh took a massive team of 40 swimmers to Dundee on Sunday to compete in the Scottish Clubs Championships. In this event swimmers can compete in four events, regardless of age or grade level. Seven Edinburgh swimmers went to Gloucester at the weekend to compete in the Swim England National Age Group Championships as part of the Caledonia Synchro team. Amy, Lucy, Mae and Torri were in the 12&under age group and Kiku, Niamh and Sara were in the 13/14/15 age group.
Edinburgh Synchro took 19 swimmers to the Scottish National Age Groups in Drumchapel at the weekend and came away with at least one medal per swimmer and the Glasgow Sports Council Trophy for Top Scottish Club 2017.
