Another great weekend at Whithaugh Park
Our Beginner, Grade 0/1 and 12&under groups spent the weekend in Whithaugh Park working on their routines for the upcoming competitions. They also enjoyed kayaking, rock climbing and the low ropes course.

The swimmers, and parents, had a great session with Calumn Duthie on Sunday 12 May. He took all our swimmers through some band exercises that would help them build their strength for the pool. Thanks to Calumn for the session!

The club took 17 age group swimmers to the Scottish Figure Competition on Saturday in the RCP in Edinburgh. We entered technical routines for the first time in a long while, and there was a technical team section for the first time ever. We had another great Club Figure Competition, with almost all members of the club competing. We are also very grateful to all our volunteers from the club who took up roles as clerks, scorers and Team Managers, and to our guest judges, Irene and Linda, for helping ensure another successful event.
Following the change in the synchro calendar the Swim England NAGs 2019 were held just over three months after the 2018 competition. In 2018 Edinburgh swimmers were part of a Synchro Caledonia team that competed. This year Synchro Caledonia is focused on skills days so Edinburgh took a team to the competition in Manchester instead.

It was the second Edinburgh Synchro Awards Night and Disco on Friday 18 January. Almost all the club came along and it was a wonderful night. The raffle was drawn and there was an amazing array of prizes. In all £196 was raised for the club.
